Obituary for Ms. Ann Lynn Noble

Ann was born in Oklahoma City to Albert and Clio Lynn. She graduated from Putnam Heights High School and attended the University of Oklahoma where she graduated with a BSE. She was an active member of Alpha Gamma Delta. Growing up, she enjoyed summer camps where she learned and later taught tennis.
A lifelong member of PEO, she treasured the friendships she built there.

Her first teaching job was in Denver, Colorado where she met a young USAF 2nd Lt. Named Robert Noble. They were married in Oklahoma City on 7 August 1965. Her life as a military wife began in Madison, Wisconsin and resulted in 17 moves to different states and 3 years in Germany. On each move she would begin as a substitute teacher while waiting for a permanent position. She also took over family responsibility when Bob had 2 remote tours of duty in Thailand and Saudi Arabia. She took every challenge with a smile and indomitable spirit trusting in the Lord.

Ann is the proud mother of 3 children; David, Susan, and Tom and 3 grandchildren; Carlisle, Kendall and Caitlin. Ann found Christ while at college with the Campus Crusade for Christ. She has taught Sunday School numerous times in different locations and taught in a Christian school in Woodstock, Illinois. Her strong belief has led her to write 3 Christian books: Restore, Restore, Restore and More; Restore Devotional; and Grow and Glow in the Grace of God which she co authored with her granddaughter, Carlisle. She belonged to a morning prayer group that started every day in prayer.

She loved playing and teaching tennis and instilled that love in her 3 children. Taking long walks with her dog was her quiet time to talk with Jesus. She loved cruises. Her 2 favorites were a tennis cruise on her and Bob’s 25th anniversary and one with the family on their 50th anniversary. Ann had an unshakable faith in God, and she has helped uncountable people to help find their way.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents and older brother, Tom Lynn. She is survived by her husband, 3 children and 3 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a gift to Legacy Christian School in Frisco where her 3 grandchildren have and are attending.
