Joseph E. Smith, Sr. (Jerry) passed away Thurs., March 25, 2010. He was born on August 12, 1941 to Catherine T. and J. Donald Smith in St. Louis, MO. A longtime resident of Oklahoma City, a graduate of Harding H.S. and Oklahoma State University. He was a member of the Engineering Club of OKC and Delta Tau Delta Fraternity (OSU Chapter).Preceded in death by his parents and sister, Barbara J. Branning.Survived by three sons: Joseph Smith and wife, Kellie, of Fremont, CA; Nicholas Smith of El Paso, TX; and Patrick Smith and wife, Leah, of Long Beach, CA; sister, Donna Watson and husband, Johnny, of Escondido, CA; grandchildren: Wesley, Cate and Aidan; nieces: Diane Burnett, Whitney Wilson, Megan Unter and Mandy Mullally.Services are 10:00 am, Wednesday, at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery Chapel.
