Comments:
Syd & I have performed all over the USA & Canada. We recorded in the 60's with a hit recording, Cash Box "Pick-of-the-Week": "I'm A Lookin' For Blue Eyes" and "Lonesome For You", which is still being played in Europe and Asia, today. We joined a vocal group, "Bill Norvas & The Upstarts", performing in The Blue Room at the Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans. "The Upstarts" Sheri, Syd, Gary Sneed and Jerry Wilson stayed together, performing at The Thunderbird Hotel/Casino in Las Vegas. Then at Judy Garlands TV Show at CBS, Mel Torme was working with Judy Garland, he heard us sing, took over management and signed us with Si Zentner's Orchestra for a Tour, throughout the USA and Canada. Later on, Syd and I moved to New York & married our hubands: Sheri to Murray C Kaye & Syd to Eddie Caccavale & had our children, my four, Tony, Kym, Jonathan & Jason and Syd two, Quinn & Rod. While raising our children, we still performed in New York at top clubs, together & on our own. After my husbands sudden death, in 1983, I ran his Beauty Salon to the Broadway Stars in NYC for 3 years & also reopened Barbara Walters Father's beautful Night Club, New York's famous Latin Quarter, with a 1920's Review. I designed and made all the ccostumes and produced the show and hosted the room and sang in the show. A few years later, I moved to Hollywood & joined with one of the newer members of the famous Ink Spots, Jerry Brooks & we brought my 20's review to a Club in LA. We were covered by CNN & many famous Stars attended. It was Fabulous!
At one point, all my children were settled in Queens, NY, close to Aunt Syd & close together and they wanted Mom to come join them there. I started making my plans & you know how that goes. I was going to move back in 5 or 6 weeks.
Five weeks before leaving LA, I was introduced to Johnny Stark over the phone. He was in Las Vegas. We spoke 3 or 4 times a day, for 5 weeks. I thought, "I'm not going all the way back to NY, without meeting this fabulous Guy", so I drove through Las Vegas on my way back to NY. It was everything we both thought it would be and more, when we met face to face. At one point Johnny was singing and I started haromanizing with him. Then I said to Johnny, "Why don't you join me in NY and we will put an act together." So Johnny joined me in NY two months later. We just celebrated being together since 1998, on Oct. 3. We have had wonderful years together, performing, and dong the thing we love the most, Singing together. This is what we were born to do, Sing!!!
My Kid's are all grown up and doing very well. I adore my Daughter-in-law, Diane and My son-in-law, Anthony. My Children: Tony & Diane have three Kids: Maegan, Matthew and Harrison.
Kym and Anthony have two girls, Samatha and Danielle.
Jonathan and Jason now live in New Hampshire. They are Good Lookin' and Single.
Syd and I have had such interesting lives. Starting in Oklahoma City and on to California, when we graduated from Harding High School & then to New York. Even though we didn't go to College, our school wasour College, "The World and Our Careers". I do admire those who went on to College, but our career was very different and we have had a career since we were 7 years old. I am amazed at the things I have done in my life, besides Singing & Entertaining, but Music is my first love!!!
My Husband was a wonderful man and weand our children traveled all over the world, first to Portugal, then Spain, Ireland, Scottland and England. Then to Brazil. We had wonderful times. And I am so lucky to have found another wonderful man, Johnny Stark.

Syd and I lost our Mother, Dorothy Jo Livingston Meherin, last Oct 2012. Mother was always there for us and it was a great loss, as it was when we lost our Grandmother Quinn, when we were in High School. Then years later when we lost our Grandfather, (Grampa) Roy A Hoffman. For years he was head of the Oklahoma Tax Commison.

We, "Sheri & Johnny" have their own Label, "S&J Star Brite Records" and have 4 releases out. "Everybody's Rockin' The Blues", "CROSSROADS", "We Are America" and "Golden Hit Recordings" which is a Double Hit Recordings of our 60's records, Syd and Sheri's record for Lute Records as Cyd and Cheri, "I'm A Lookin' For Blue Eyes" and "Lonesome For You" and Johnny Stark for Crystallette Records, "Rockin' Billy" and "Drivin' Me Out Of My Mind". Our new release is "Sheri & Johnny - Heart to Heart". Also Johnny just signed a CD deal with Hydra Records in Germany, for all his records from the 50's, 60's and 70's. It was just released the beginning of August. Hydra is going to sign "Sheri & Johnny" soon and then we will go on Tour in Europe.
