To my good friend and mentor. We had some good times, and I still have great memories. Tell Ike hi for me, and I will be seeing you again. see you again.

Larry and I often went to lunch together in his '57 Chevy, to a hamburger joint near Will Rogers theater. He was so proud of the Chevy, and rightfully so with all of the custom work done to it, specially the pleated interior. And the unusual graphics that were painted on the car by Don Binkley.

In the mid 70's I had the pleasure of seeing Larry again, here in Bartlesville, when his construction company had the task of refinishing four tennis courts and building a fifth court. One thing that really stands out is the ingenuity Larry had, building a plastic "tent" over several barrels of Chevron's Laycold surfacing when the night time temps were forecasted to be below freezing.

Quite the man. I'll miss him.

I also remember going to lunch with Larry in his light green 57 Chevrolet.  The car was special to him and we all wanted one like it.  Larry was a good guy and will be missed.
